This was the reality my family was facing when I was just eight years old-that my mom would be dead in less than 12 months. You see, my mom had a very severe form of asthma, and it was basically slowly shutting her body down, like a painfully drawn out suffocation. She had to quit her job as head nurse. Then she couldn’t make it up our stairs anymore without crawling, and eventually even that became too difficult, so she had to live and even sleep downstairs. We saw multiple specialists. So many medicines and procedures were tried, but they had little to no effect. Eventually, it became heart-breakingly clear that nothing was working, and we had run out of options, and the doctors confirmed this fact. Now our only option was to wait for the inevitable…we were waiting for mom to die. By the grace of God, my grandma and grandpa (mom’s side) had been seeing a chiropractor for years, and asked him if chiropractic could be of any help with asthma. He told them that it depended on what the cause of the asthma was, but that he often saw asthmatic patients have great results under chiropractic care. So my folks reluctantly decided to give it a shot (they were honestly just sick of doctor’s appointments and repeated disappointment at this point); we saw a doc by the name of Dr. Bambus. He listened, and was extremely caring, and after examining my mom told us he thought he could help. So we gave it a shot. Well, that’s when everything began to change. Slowly, my mom began to see progress. It started to become less difficult to breathe. Then she was able to make it back up the stairs, first crawling, then walking. Over time, she regained full function, and was able to come off the myriad of meds she had been taking. She was able to work again, and return to what she loved, nursing. Simply put, she had her life back. We were beyond grateful that her death sentence had been reversed! Then my dad and I started going. My dad’s sleep apnea disappeared, and after that, his carpal tunnel syndrome. He happily cancelled his carpal tunnel surgery!

Here to Serve You!

Chiropractic made all the difference in my family’s life, and I knew that I wanted to be able to help people like Dr. Bambus did. I decided early on in life that I wanted to be a chiropractor, and that passion never died. That is why I do what I do, why I became a chiropractor. I am so thankful for the opportunity to now help others achieve their health goals, whether it be relief from chronic pain, nutritional, or otherwise. I am here to serve YOU!

Chiropractic Education

I went to grad school at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX, and received my D.C. (Doctorate of Chiropractic) in late 2002. I chose Parker primarily due to it’s reputation as being one of the top chiropractic schools in the nation scholastically. During my time there, I remember one doctor, specifically, that especially impressed me. His name was Dr. Marzban. Dr. Marzban already had two doctorates, one in neurology, and one in teaching. Through all his schooling in neurology, and eventual years of teaching neurology, he became well aware of how great an effect chiropractic had on the nervous system, and how important the health of the spine was to the nervous system. And so, even with all his previous years of schooling, he went BACK to school to become a chiropractor because he wanted to help people achieve their optimal health, and he realized that chiropractic was the key to that goal. So a big shout out, and a huge thank you to Dr. Marzban for inspiring me to never stop learning!

Away from Advanced Chiropractic and Nutrition

I am crazy about my family! I have been blessed with the most amazing wife, one awesome little boy (9yrs), and the cutest little girl I’ve ever seen (5 mos)! We spend quite a few busy weekends away from the house due to my boy being on a travel soccer team, but it’s a lot of fun, and he loves it. We all really enjoy just being out in nature, whether that be hiking, camping, or fishing (we live about a block from a lake-score!)

My whole family and I receive chiropractic care regularly, because we know how important it is, and that wellness is much easier to maintain than to chase down! PLUS it just feels good to feel good!!
